LILO detect my NT4 and Win98 so I can select to boot the NT4 or Win98 or
Linux at startup?
if u install lilo in the first 1024 sectors of your hard disk then it
shouldnt be a problem at all. u might have to reorganize your HD with
partition magic or similar software to get your linux partition into the
first 1024 sectors.

configure my LILO to have the option for me to choose the OS that i wish to
boot?
whenever u update an OS like win98 or NT or Linux it creates a new MBR
(master boot record) what u can do is save your old MBR and restore it
after installing the new OS.

file and what is the file name?
from my point of view this is a very bad idea. why do u try to change your
MBR settings when u run NT or win98 ?
