How to play VCD Mpeg2, use Scrolled mouse

Dear Sir/Madem,

I've installed RedHat 6.2 and running KDE. I'd like to know:

1. How to use my Logitech scrolled mouse to browse the web 
2. How to play VCD mpeg2 (*.dat file). I have downloaded the MTV 
player, but it can play mpeg1 only (e.g *.mpeg). Why?
3. What version of Kernel support UDMA100 ? I tried RedHat 7, 
but it doesn't recognise my DMA100 HD.

Should you have any idea, please update me.
