Well Xfree 4.01 does support the card
4.0.1:
Support (accelerated) for the MGA2064W (Millennium I), MGA1064SG (Mystique),
MGA2164W (Millennium II) (PCI and AGP), G100, G200 and G400 is provided by
the "mga" driver.
So there should be no reason why, have you played with it yet?
use the xf86cfg tool to get the setup working and then fine tune the
XF86Config file by hand!

Hi Gang!
I just wondered if anyone had given thought to the question I posed
yesterday concerning running a Matrox G400 dual-head video card under Redhat
7.0.
The good folks at Dell don't think it can be done, and I don't know enough
to agree or disagree with them...
Any ideas folks??
Regards,
-Colin
