wrong question again

wrong question at a wrong place. but this being a open forum can anyone
explain this to me. Forgive me.
i have a problem.
my pc's date does not change when it is off. I have just changed the
battery. but that did not change the problem.
can any one tell me whats may be the problem before i catch my hardware engg
again.
