ping works for win2k not for rh7

hi
i have a network with a redhat7 server connected to iNet
i have set up ip-masq, which is working fine for my laptop and my main
computer, if this is running win2k. But now i installed rh7, and i can get
exactly 2 pings out, then the rest times out

any idea ?
