Hi James,
I burned my 1st Linux box on Jun 12 on a machine *exactly* like yours ...
I meant to use Redhat 6.2s software RAID ... but what with all the
unfriendly
documentation, I formatted only the first of my 2 SCSI drives with fdisk---
4 partitions /boot, /, /home and SWAP .... in the hope of implementing
software
RAID later ..
Now i have Apache-PHP-MySQL, FTP, SAMBA, DNS, NNTP , MASQ,X-VNC ,
Sendmail/POP3
running happily but the thought of a server crash gives me nightmares ...
even though i back up
to a SCSI tape drive regularly .. our VC has set us some really challenging
targets !!
How best can i utilise my 2nd HD ( sdb ) for RAID ( ??? ) or otherwise ? I
really need an
answer to this .. please !!
Best regards
Anurag
