KDE

I am looking for information on using kde or kwm on my machine. I have RH 6.0
and I boot to a login prompt as opposed to automatically starting x. I have
another machine which goes right to x and the login dialog box has an options
button which lets me select kde. How do i select that option on the other
machine?
