Re: Installing to second harddrive

I *tried* to do a search on the list archive at the RedHat

I'm just not setting the search parameters correctly, or
something.

Anyway......

Can anyone here give me a suggestions on how to do this, or
were (on the web or otherwise) I should look to find
information on same?

All help will be gratefully accepted.

Well, I was able to do it without having to find any info on it over the web. My setup is a little complicated, but I'll describe it to you. My second hard drive is the secondary master. So when installing, the root went to hdc1 and I created a swap at hdc2. (if you don't know about hard drive numbering, just ask)

During installation, it asks where you want to put lilo. Either the MBR or the first section of the partion (or is it hard drive) that you are installing too. I use WinNT's boot manager, so I chose the second option. I used another program under NT called bootpart that helped me setup NT's boot manager to boot to the linux partition. So when booting up, I'm given the option of win95, NT, or Linux. when I choose Linux, up comes lilo and from there I can also pick from the same three. Usually, I just press enter and it boots Linux. If I'm in a weird mood, I can tell it to boot to nt and just switch between boot managers all day if I want too. I'm just sick like that.
