Hi all,
I use my Redhat 6.2 box as a Testserver for my Portal website. I've
statically built PHP 3.0.16 into Apache ver 1.3.12
together with MySQL support.
We plan to upgrade to PHP 4, while keeping PHP 3 intact . Our hosting
company has also agreed to let us share their SSL
certificate for a monthly fee ( because we want to add a storefront )
Keeping the above in mind , what is the best upgrade path .. so that the
chances of irretrievably messing the setup are minimised :-) ?
(Since i am still a relative newbie ), but I do maintain Full backups on
tape ( with taper )
A detailed answer would be most welcome !
Best regards
Anurag
