Mailbox lock

Hi,


I have a problem with my linux box (RedHat-6.1).  When I open
pine, It says "Mailbox is open by another process, access is read-only."

When I run "mail" at the command prompt, it says "bad address."

I can't even access via popd.  Anyone has experienced this kind of prob.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
