Are we so sure that these problems are with the KVM's themselves? I also
have a two port Belkin Switch attached to my Mac 8100 and the Apex
Outlook... (Gives me five machines...) I have absolutely no problems in
Windows or Mac OS... Only Linux seems to have a problem. I'm sure if I put
W2K on my laptop the problem would go away.

I also have the Belkin OmniCube, however the 2 port version. I have it
hooked
to a Linux machine and an IBM laptop. After much experimentation, I found
that
The keyboard is pretty reliable if I use the software switch. The mouse is
trouble though, I found the best solution was to use 2 two mice and ctrl
alt
F7 the X window when I shift to Linux. Belkin just says that IBM is
problematic. Two mice on the desk isn't too much trouble, although at nearly
$200 for the KVM, it is disappointing.
