Hai Leo,...
As Your suggestions, here is what i did:
1. Boot from CD, then type 'linux rescue expert'
I configured my SCSI card, and it was detected (no problemo)
2. run 'e2fsck /dev/sda5' the output was
e2fsck 1.18, 11-Nov-1999 for EXT2 FS 95/08/09
e2fsck: No such file or directory while trying to open /dev/sda5
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a correct
ext2 filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an
ext2 filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the
superblock is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an
alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193 <device>
---
So, what do you think? Second, (LILO) I added 2 lines you said, and i ran
'lilo' the output:
---
Warning: /dev/hda is not on the first disk
Added linux *
Added dos
---
It didn't solve my LILO problem. That's what i can tell you now,
Thank you in advance,
Abdul Malik bin Hilman bin Mahyuddin
