I am attempting to install RH 6.2 on an old 486 machine. This machine has
a SCSI CD-ROM by way of an Adaptec 2842 VL SCSI controller. I am using the
boot floppy (created from boot.img) and text mode install. After chewing
on the boot floppy for a little while, the install asks for a "driver
disk", presumably to locate a driver for the SCSI controller. I see three
image files in /images/drivers on the CD, and none of the look like
likely candidates for a SCSI driver. Can anyone help me with what the
installation program is looking for here?
