3Com 3c509b Network Card Detection Probrem

Hi All,
I've got a 3Com 3c509b card installed in my PC. The card worked fine under
Win95.  When I installed RedHat 6.0, the installer asked me to config Network
Card.  I selected 3c509 from the list, however, the system message said no
specific device found in the system.  I just curious, why Linux can't detect it.

Any idea?
