Hey
Does the Bios boot correctly?? If not take the simple Ram that's installed
with the bios and put it back in. I had a client with the same problem. And
that fixed the problem. If the bios is able to read the floppy then it might
be the hard drive itself. I had another client, running NT, the HD drive
crashed and it wouldn't boot from a floppy. And what I did then was took the
HD out and put it into another box, as a slave, and accessed it from there.
Just to make sure it was working. Then I put it back in and it worked fine
(and still works).
Since the Video is not coming up, I assume that you can't get into the bios
settings.
Have you tried booting from a CD???
You may have a Bios reset switch. Search Google for you computer.
And Simon is right...Start with the basics....
And if any if this helps you or it fixes the problem...That will be $150.00
for my time!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA
Captain Scarlet
PS It might be the MBR...I personally have never had that problem...but your
computer my not like it....Who knows..........
