Problem with CRON

   I am having a problem with CRON. I see the process is running:

root       394  0.0  0.9  1328  616 ?        S    20:25   0:00 crond

but it isn't executing commands. I tried looking through my manuals,
and they all say how to set up cron, but not how to troubleshoot it.
It has worked in the past on this machine (Red Hat 6.2). Anyone have any
ideas?
