Re which modem to buy?

I got a Multitech MT5634ZPX PCI card for Redhat Linux 6.2, so I'd imagine that would work on version 7.  I've heard that external modems are easier to install, although I've got experience of that.  I'm still having problems connecting with mine but the choice is yours.  If you want to try a Multitech modem go to http://www.multitech.com/PRODUCTS/MultiModemZPX/
