Hi
Check so that you have telnet-server installed (rpm -qa|grep telnet). If
you have you'll have to check so you got telnetd defined in xinetd. Since
I don't have a RH7 here I can't tell you exactly where to look. But check in
/etc/xinitd.conf and you should see something about telnet. I havn't used
xinetd for while so I've forgotten the syntax for it.
