 Please answer these three questions. I think somehow the formatting went 
wrong. This causes the partition to be shown as 3 GB by fdisk, but if the 
filesystem is formatted as a 2 GB filesystem it can only hold this amount of 
data.
 Probably the best thing you can do is backup the data from this partition, 
reformat it from Windos, and put the data back. You might find that the 
partition now can hold 3 GB.
