Disk partitioning

I just installed Red Hat Linux 7 on a system with Windows 98. Everything
is working fine. I can boot either OS with no problems. However, I have
one question. Linux apparently screwed up some partition information
because PowerQuest's PartitionMagic reports problems with the disk
partitions and won't touch the disk now. I contacted PowerQuest and they
said I need to use the Linux partition utility to fix any errors. When I
bring up FIPS, it thinks everything's fine with the disk.

What do I try next?

Thanks.
