Swap priority

Hi Guys,

    During bootup, sysem shows:

Adding swap : 64420K (approx 64MB, equal to my RAM) priority -1

What does this priority mean? The output of free is as below:

steve STV:/etc/X11# free
             total used free shared buffers
cached
Mem: 62676 60280 2396 0 364
23792
-/+ buffers/cache: 36124 26552
Swap: 64224 68 64156

As you can see, I'm almost down on RAM, but still the swap is not
used much. No problem with the system, but this worries me. How can I
change the swap priority so that it gets used more often?

Regards,
Steve Fernandez.
