problems connecting to dhcp.

Hello,
	I'm having troubles connecting to my dhcp server on a machine. I'm using
rh7 and is there a dhcp service that I can run, I thought there was one
in 6.2? The machine in question boots, can't connect to the dhcp server,
for some reason I have to restart the dhcp server, then manually run the
pump command and it works. Any ideas?
