I just found something on the dlink website. According to them, the DE-530
uses tulip and the DE-530TX uses via-rhine. I don't recall which you said
you have, but it seems you said it was the 530TX. I have that card and I
know I used the rtl8139 modules for it in the 2.2.X kernels. I recall
finding something a few weeks back about the via-rhine in a search engine.
But, I ignored it because I know it couldn't be right since I compiled the
module right off of the dlink disk and it was rtl8139. (There is an 8139
in the 2.4 kernels but it's been renamed 8139too and it hasn't worked for
me either).
I guess I'll try the via-rhine when I get the chance now, even though I
don't need it currently since I already have 2 different linksys models
working in this machine.
