I've tried Debian and looks good, but I think nowadays the
people doesn't have time to lost.
I say that because, the choice of the packages in Debian
is almost hard in time.
Poeple want to get the distro, insert the CD, install
(if possible automatically) and see the system running.

Ok, it's true. But is very difficult to tune up a distribution
ready to use online, and doesn't matter if it's RH or Debian or
...
RH get out the distros very fast but they don't force to you
to upgrade your system.
I think that time is important when speaking about linux. The
distributions try to offer a good looking OS for newbies to
attract them to this world. And trying to offer a good product
to expert users and companies.
This combination is difficult to keep.

If there was a distro that was the best all the poeple used it, but
it's nt true, so anybody can use the distro he/she thinks is the
best.

So, say that a distro is the best and the others are sh**t I think
it's a stupidity.

Ok.

You said it. It's a distro for exprienced users. Think that there
is a lot of people getting in the world of linux and can't
manage debian. So there are graphical distros during the
installation and makes more or lees the things automatically.
> Naaaaah....6.x were good vintage ones, much better than 7.x :)
That's true. 6.2 was and is a very good and stable distribution.
