Error during a pppd session

Hi,

I connect to the internet using these scripts:

ppp-on, ppp-on-dialer, ppp-off, ip-up, ip-up.local, ip-down,
ip-down.local and pap-secrets

Everything works fine but I'm just wondering why I get this msg after
connecting and having been given my IP address:

CCP: timeout sending Config-requests

I just ignore this and disconnect after I finish using the Internet. And
all's well. Can someone tell me this Config-request my system is doing?
I checked the messages log and the request is being done by pppd.
Nothing else.
