All--
I need UNIX tools for my research, and I have RH6.2 on a stand-alone
workstation to fill this need. My department does not have the expertise to
support Linux, and I have done all the installation, setup, and security
work to date and have enjoyed it. However, I can't keep up with the
security updates. It just takes too much time for me to sit down and look
through the update list, select what I need (see which packages are
installed on my machine), download, and install them. There must be an
easier way. I'm being tempted by Debian's upgrade system, but I must be
missing something in RH that simplifies the update procedure?
Thanks in advance for your advice,
Bryan Young
