RH 7.1 support for high-end monitors

Hi everybody!
I have one (hopefully basic) question.  I'm in the process of putting RH 7.1 in a new PC and I would like to get a 22" high-end monitor, i.e. 1800 x 1400 resolution, .24 mm, etc, like the Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 200 or the Viewsonic P220F.
Does anybody know if RH 7.0/7.1 works O.K. with monitors of this type?  I wouldn't want to get one ($$) and have it burn through Xconfigurator.
