samba

i try to configure samba in a linux gnome workstation in a LAN with a NT
server
the LAN is behind a proxy... the NT server and the proxy have a unique
IP
the other machines NT server assign the IP via DHCP

i configure linux with an unique IP but the NT server not recognize...
i can acces the proxy via TCP/IP but i can`t access the LAN workgroup

i new in this.. so maybe is something simple but i can't do it...

somebody can help me with this?
