its my favourite mailer (bulky too.. comes to 3mb in size), but I was
referring to a GUI based mail client.

Also does PINE support multithreading, I dont think so, it certainly
supports running multiple copies of itself but this is not what
multithreading is, ie you should be able to edit another mail etc, while
the MUA is busy sending off your mail to the SMTP host, or polling the
POP3 host.

Also I couldnt find anything wihc says it can filter mail, like for
example send mail from this list to a redhat folder, etc.

What I do is use  procmail for mail filtering, fetchmail for polling. Thos
are stil the best IMHO.

Thank heavens it is not, it would be too slow, its written in good old C
