I presume that you don't have much experience with Outlook Express, otherwise
you would'nt praise it so. First of all, its from Microsoft, which gives you an
idea about the amount of bugs in it. Second, almost all of the email viruses
created are done so taking advantages of the holes in Outlook Express. Which
other email client would allow you to access your complete address book, and send
messages, all without your permission and knowledge? These viruses do not crash
your hard-disk or anything like that, but worse, personal relationships get
strained. Yes, I do miss a feature of it, "Justify text", but that's available in
Mozilla, though it does'nt support encryption. All the other features of Outlook
Express IMHO are available in Messenger too.

Did'nt you hear about the recent discovery of a hole in IE 5 which allows
hackers to access any info on your system? What if Microsoft put it there
deliberately??? The only reason that I'm wasting my HD space keeping Windoze
there is that I can't print in Debian. If I could solve that problem, I would
have thrashed Windoze long ago.....and IMHO, almost all small Windoze programs
run better in Linux with wine ;-)

Have you tried out Eudora pro or Pegasus mail? Better functionality, ability
to prevent scripts from running (total protection from email viruses) , content
scan etc. come with Eudora pro.
