Are they reachable with Lynx, implying a Netscape problem? Or are they
completely unreachable with even traceroute?

Subject: kernel upgrade
I am baffled. I took the stock Redhat 7.1 2.4.2-2
kernel and upgraded it to 2.4.7. Everything went
smooth with the compiling. But now, inexplicably, two
websites
at the same domain are totally and utterly unreachable
via netscape or lynx. The rest of the Internet is
reachable by domain name and ip address. Am I crazy,
or is there some logical explanation for this?
thanks for any insights.
