i'm using redhat 6.2. i want my
linux as my server. now, my problem is how I configure my gateway and
router...
i put my linux server IP address is 194.148.0.1,
netmask=255.255.255.0,network=194.148.0.0,broadcast=194.148.0.255.
what is my gateway address? is it 194.148.0.1? and
i really want to know how to configure this in linuxconfig.
Espeacially under the Routing & Gateways
(GNOME LINUXCONFIG)
1.) set defaults
2.) set other routes to networks
3.) set other routes to hosts
4.) set routes to alternative local
nets
5.) configure the routed daemons
how to configure all this in GNOME LINUXCONFIG?
Once I configure how i want to try? What is the PRIMARY DNS?Pls give brief
explain and the configuration. I really need ur help.
For ur info, I'm using novel netware
(networking).
