Depends on the app. Check www.winehq.com,
www.transgaming.com , www.codeweavers.com,
and of course linux.corel.com

IBM also had some patches for wine to
run one of their apps. And the Delphi
for Linux, used winelib (the main focus
of wine) to port the package.

Ask on the wine mailing lists too. You
can probably get answers from someone there
that is running, or has tried to run the
app in question.
