Re: Wheelmouse in RH7



My USB laser Intellimouse works fine, as do the two normal Intellimice
that I have.  It is a (recent) X thing, and the app has to support it.
The area in the XF86Config(-4, in my case) looks like this:

Section "InputDevice"
        Identifier  "Mouse0"
        Driver      "mouse"
        Option      "Device" "/dev/mouse"
        Option      "Protocol" "IMPS/2"
        Option      "Emulate3Buttons" "off"
        Option      "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

It is the ZAxisMapping setting that sets up the wheel.  Mozilla works, but
I think you have to hack around a bit to get it working in Netscape.  I
don't know any more than that.
