Fwd: Help!! College Project due ASAP!!! How do I install REDHAT 7.0 on...

Hello All!

Well, I had hope to be further ahead than this by now...I have only 2
more days and nights to get my 'dual booting' of REDHAT 7.0 and Windows
'98 machine fully operational...with my Apache Web Server up and running,
my webpages on it....AND virtually all my homework for the course....

I have about $10,000 of Financial Aid riding on completely this project
and impressing my instructor significantly....soooo please hurry any reply
to the problem I am going to explain...here goes:

I added additional memory of 32MB RAM and a 2nd hard drive ...a Maxtor 20
Gig...5400 rpm...EIDE...all successfully partitioned and formatted...I
also believe I have solved the problem with the drive letters changing the
position of the CD-ROM...from D:\ to H:\....so now I have my original hard
drive C:\

which is running Windows 98 SE and a newly partioned drive...D, E, F,
G....all slightly more than 4 G in size...I have the 2 CD set of REDHAT
7.0 which I received from the company reps and Comdex Fall 2000, when I
was there...I put it in my CD-Rom drive and copied files from it onto
partition D....

As it does not seem to boot from the CD....where do I go from here to
install???? Am I missing a step somewhere...seemed like this should be
straightforward...I have installed REDHAT 7.0 several times on lab
computers at college...and really looked forward to actually being able to
have the time to LEARN more having it on my machine at home...but ???? I
am clueless as to what it not clear of how to install...

Do I install from a floppy??? Have not made one yet...or from DOS or ????
My PC is only two years old...it is a Pentium II 350 now with 96 MB
RAM...

I was hoping to create a Multibooting machine...but for the sake of
time...will have to settle for a dual booting...perhaps when I 'get' what
I am supposed to do correctly....I will be able to add one or more "Linux
Flavors" in order to experiment, etc.

PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!

Shoshanna
