Okay. From X-Windows, if you run Linuxconf, there is some other tabs that
you can get for the superuser account.
By default, when creating a superuser, you get minimal priviledges. So, you
have to, not only create the account,
you have to configure it so that you are able to run Linuxconf using the new
account. I am sure there is a button
that says "Enable user to run Linuxconf", in one of those tabs.

A group at our community college was trying to setup a normal user
account to have superuser priveleges with Linuxconf. When we gave a new
account the superuser priveleges, we still could not start 'linuxconf'
from this account. We experiment with several different
configurations. What are we overlooking in our attempt?
