The one thing I would add is this
bash ~ sh
sh is what most of the installers seem to prefer you use

> TCSH has the same functionality as far as tab completion. Most of the shells aren't noticibly different from one another at the user level. I think you will find most of the functionality differences/dinctions to be at the scripting level. In terms of user niceties bash,tcsh, and ksh are functionally more or equivelent. I have heard that the ksh has much better scripting capabilities, but I can't verify that from personal experience.
