RE: Mounting Zip Drive

This worked for my 100MB external parallel on RH 6.0, fat.o and vfat.o
should already be installed but if not then just use the insmod command and
point it towards the fs directory under lib/modules/2.2.12-20 etc:

/sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.2.12-20/misc/parport.o
/sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.2.12-20/misc/parport_pc.o
/sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.2.12-20/scsi/imm.o

Then use the following to mount the drive itself (I have used /mnt/zipdrv
but you can use anything):

/bin/mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /mnt/zipdrv

If this doesnt work then the tech support for Iomega are usually really
helpful and quick to repspond too.
