Re: LNE100TX 2



Hi Dan.

I had the same exact problem that you were having a couple of days ago.  I
downloaded every "latest" driver for Linksys.  I emailed Linksys, looked at
several websites, etc.  I resolved the problem by putting the Linksys card
in my Windows box and going to CompUsa and getting a much less expensive
D-Link NIC ( $8.99 ) to install in my RH7.0 box.  Absolutely no
problems.......Recognized the card on the initial boot and took 5 seconds to
modify the other files (i.e. /etc/hosts, etc) to have my network ready to
rock and roll.
