Re: Couple of easy questions

     Brian,

     1) the file for routes is /etc/sysconfig/static-routes

     here's an example

_______eth1 net 172.26.71.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 172.26.227.254

I have a couple of simple questions that I can't find the answer to. I have
a RH 6.2 box that I would like to add a default route to upon start up. I
know the command, I'm just wondering in what file to add the "route add
default..." command to so that it is executed at startup. Or maybe there is
a way to add a permant route.

Also, If I want my rc.firewall script to be executed automatically when ever
the machine is booted, in what fill do I reference my rc.firewall script and
what would be the correct command for that? i.e. call /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall
or what. (I'm not real great at scripting.)

Thanks for your help.
