Re: Netscape 6 on Linux RH 6.2?

I'm running Netscape 6.0 under Redhat version 6.0 and it works fine. 
Just make sure you have at least 64 Mb of RAM or greater available 
otherwise it will run pathetically slooooow!! I tried running it on my 
166mhz 32 Mb machine and man was it ever slow city!!  I wound up having 
to run it across my network on a slightly faster machine with more 
memory. Otherwise it seems to run fine on RH 6.x.

Overall performance ? Like most Netscape's, it chugs along. Netscape 6.0 
is still problematic, it does crash now & then but that might have to do 
with the way I'm running it. It does seem to run Java  much more 
smoothly than with the Netscape 4.7x versions. I can even keep the Java 
turned on if I want to and not experience constant crashes.

Overall ? netscape 6 looks promising,  some nice added features,  
bloated, somewhat problematic, well worth a try.
