I have what is hopefully two easy questions...
1) Can I set permissions on folders and have the same permissions set on any
subfolders under it ?? reason why I ask is tht I have one main software
folder and then under that there are about 50 ish sub folders...whilst I
know that i can set chmod 777 <sub-foldername> I really dont fancy spending
a lot of time doing it individually.
2) How can I get Linux to recognise more than 2GB on a hard disk...the drive
is an 8GB IDE drive, is it a case of just doing fdisk on the drive under
Linux or is there more to it than that ??
Thankyou for your help
Regards
biscut
