Are you running any services through xinetd, like ftp, telnet etc? I get this
same error on one of my machines (this was a clean install), but since I don't
have any services running on that machine I could just disable xinetd using
ntsysv. That would make the "problem" go away. This is really no effort, I
wonder why I didn't do this yet :-). If you do have services running through
xinetd you probably have to configure it properly. Maybe someone with
experience with xinetd could help you out here.

Did you configure apache? Is apache running? Try a "ps -aux | grep httpd" and
see if this shows up any httpd instances. If it doesn't the startup probably
failed, although it seems to have succeeded. In that case the init script is
not 100%.
If you do not need to run apache you could disable the service using ntsysv
(or setup).
