Star Office is set up for use by only one user on each machine isn't it?
This limits its use even for a one-man operation (I may have multiple user

Hi David,

I find that very disturbing as well. If only there were software that are
able to read MS office files, I would have downloaded it and stoped using

What about StarOffice?

Bye,

Leonard.

Sorry, but that's an incorrect assumption. Logged into your root account,
you can do a network install of StarOffice 5.2, by using the "net" option. Thus
from a console (as root) you would do: ./so*****.bin \net. Once your users log into]
their accounts, they will each be able to run SO individually.
