RE: xawtv config file

I would guess that $home would be the user directory i.e /home/user.

Subject: xawtv config file

Hi everyone,

I've installed xawtv properly. Unfortunatley every time I reboot I lose

all my configurations. I have to uninstall xawtv then probe for the
approredhat-install-list redhat compriate modules then reinstall xawtv
every time I start my computer. How can I keep my configurations so I
don't have to go through all this every time I want to watch tv ? Its
actually only the sound I lose when I reboot, I don't understand why I
only lose the sound, surely I should lose everything if none of it is in

a config file of some sort or another ?

The xawtv manual says to put all settings in a $home/.xawtv file. I
don't know what or where this is, can anyone suggest anything ?

Cheers in advance

Graeme:)

P.S - sndconfig had nothing to do with it
