Thomas,
I believe you found my problem In my pci.ids file (RH 6.0) there is no
vendor 1103 with Device 04 - I do have a vendor 1103 with device 3. This
tells me my copy of RH is older than my card, therefore it doesn't know what
to do with it.
Now for the BIG question. How do I get the driver for this? Is it a file I
can download from RH or maybe from someone with RH7.1? If I get a copy will
it work with RH 6.0?
I would guess if I could get this file I would have to do the following:
1 - put it where my RH would look for it (where the other files are?)
2 - edit my pci.ids file to include the listing for device 4
3 - Reboot?
Does that cover it? Having never done anything like this in Linux I would
be interested to know how it's done even if this file (if available) will
only work under a newer version of RH.
Thanks
Brad
