redhat 7.1 problem?

hello,

i have installed redhat 7.1 on my system.

PIII-650
128MB RAM
Intel 810 VGA
6.4 GB HD

i was prviously running redhat 7, it was running very
fine. but i wanted to give a try to redhat 7.1.
Installation went smoothly & i rebooted my system. my
system rebooted & while booting redhat 7.1 for the
first time i noticed that it is slower than redhat 7.
when i logged in to gnome & kde, they too were working
very slowly, why it is too slow?

during the installation i chose the "custom install" &
i also chose "remove all data option" for
partitioning.

any help would be very helpful & appreciated.
