Re: Redhat 7.0 on laptop



Only 7.1 has a "laptop" option -- the main difference is that the pcmcia
subsystem is installed.  With 7.0 you get the pcmcia subsystem with the
"Workstation" class installs.  7.1 is much better about allowing choices
for laptops -- there are several "Generic LCD panel" settings that do
well, as well as some specific entries for known screens (the Inspiron XGA
screens, for example).

be down at the moment.
