Its very easy. I too have this wonderful card, and what I would suggest is
for you to compile and install it from the source code.

Please get the source code for the driver and compile and install it, as
their binary driver is kernel version dependent.

Thats becuase it was compiled for a deifferent kernel.

Yes switching to RH 7.0 means that the sblive driver would be installed as
the 2.4 series  of the kernel has support for this driver automatically.

You can install the alsa drivers as they support MIDI which the creative
drivers (kernel driver) doesnt support as yet to my knowledge.
