How to get the feature to enlarge the screen by moving mouse?

Dear all,

Usually, if I specify the screen size (1280x1024) in Xconfigurator, the screen
will be limited in it. I wish I could get a larger one so that the rest part
out of 1280x1024 can be visible when mouse moves there.

Hope I clarify my question clearly this time!

Thanks again!
Li Bing
